Frank M. Shipes

Frank is a certified public accountant and a partner in the firm of Holland Shipes Vann. Frank was graduated cum laude from Georgia Southern College with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree and joined the Atlanta office of Price Waterhouse in 1969. In 1972, he established his own accounting firm.

Through the years, Frank has had significant experience in dealing with the accounting and tax problems of closely held businesses and their owners. His background includes an emphasis in the construction and hospitality industries. Frank was instrumental in developing the North Atlanta Tax Council.

He has made numerous presentations on various investment, tax and accounting matters. Frank is a noted speaker on financial and investment strategies. His professional and civic activities include memberships in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Atlanta Tax Forum, the North Atlanta Tax Council and the Tax Division of the AICPA.
