Nancy L. Motes

Nancy specializes in providing accounting services, business valuations, tax expertise and real estate planning for individuals and small to medium sized businesses. She attended the University of Rhode Island and Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. Nancy was branch manager for a tax and accounting firm before joining Holland Shipes Vann, P.C. in 1986. She became a partner with the firm in 1998. 

Nancy has considerable experience in the field of business valuations. She has successfully upheld client issues with the Internal Revenue Service. Nancy has worked extensively with accounting and bookkeeping systems and has developed an expertise in various computerized systems. Her experience includes wholesale and retail operations, construction industry and service organizations.

Nancy is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the National Association of Estate Planners and Councils. She is an Accredited Estate Planner and has earned the Accredited Business Valuation designation from the AICPA.
